Successful people listen more and talk less. Listening with empathy come natural to them. They always seek to listen to others and make sure that they understand before responding. They do not go into conversations with predetermined answers and responses.
Successful people are not always right. They know their limitations and always seek counsel of the wise and experts.
Successful people look at the subject from other people's perspective. This does not imply that they do not have their own opinions in fact Paul Getty said, "I advise young millionaires to be skeptical of advice. They should advise themselves; they should form their own opinions." Having own opinion is most desirable but keep in mind that good ideas always come from seeing things from other people's perspectives. Thereafter an opinion can be formed and a contrarian position taken if necessary. Many of the great discoveries and inventions came about because of this attitude.
Successful people give out relevant presents at right moment. They give presents because they appreciate others. They also donates to charities because they value humanity.
